The Wenger story begins in 1893 with Paul
Boechat and the Fabrique Suisse De Coutellerie SA cutlery factory in
Delmont. In 1898, Theo Wenger was named director of the factory. He
later bought the factory and renamed it Wenger & Co. SA. The Wenger
Company has a long history of producing quality knives in
Switzerland. With high quality at a reasonable price, Wenger Knives
