Bowie Knives
There is a great amount of
mystery with the origin of the Bowie Knife.
It is widely accepted that Colonol James (Jim) Bowie designed the
first Bowie Knife and Blacksmith James Black created it. Jim Bowie's
fame is well known, including the most famous story of the Alamo.
James Black was a Blacksmith in Arkansas who many also claim
reinvented a form of Damascus Steel with his custom knives. The
bowie knife has enjoyed a storied past throughout the history of
this nation.
