Becker Knives are Back! Becker
Knives are now being manufactured by Ka-Bar Knives, Inc. They were
previously manufactured by Blackjack Knives, and then, most recently, by
Camillus Knives. The new Ka-Bar Becker Knives feature the traditional Becker
line of knives as well as some new and improved models.
The
Becker Knife and Tool Company has been at the forefront of hard use survival
knives and tools since 1980. Chief designer and founder Ethan Becker, an
avid outdoorsman since his youth, spent 25 years searching for the ideal
"big knife" and eventually merged his two favorite bush blades - a
Kukri and a WWII survival bolo - to make his first and most famous edged
tool the "Machax". Ethan Becker was not content to rest after
developing the Machax, and in conjunction with cutlery and survival experts
worldwide has completed the development of the next generation of Becker
knives for the new Millennium.
